FAQs
In-Person Presentations
In-person presentations are 20 minutes total, which includes 15 minute talk + 5 minute QA.
LREC-COLING 2024 has communicated with us that all presentations must be given from the same computer. This means we need a copy of your slide deck. We will accommodate pdf, keynote, and powerpoint presentations.
Please upload your presentation slide deck using this form by May 19, 2024 (anywhere on earth).

Poster Presentations
LREC-COLING gives the following specification: "The size of posters holders is 90cm x 150 cm and the format is vertical (Portrait).
The Poster Boards cannot accommodate Landscape posters. You can print your poster in Portrait A0 (84,1 x 118,9cm)."

At the moment, there are no specific deals with printing services. However, there are many copy shops in Turin who will print your poster for a small price.
A often frequented shop, for example, is Centrocopie.
Virtual Lightning Presentations
LREC-COLING does not provide support for virtual posters.
For this reason, we converted all virtual presentations that would have been accepted as posters into lightning talks.
If you are presenting a lightning talk, and you would like the opportunity to share a poster, you are absolutely welcome to send us a pdf of a poster to make available to all workshop attendees (see more on this VQ#5).
A lightning presentation will be given 8 minutes total, which includes 5 minute talk + 3 minute QA.
We would prefer the presenters to present live via Zoom. However, if this will be problematic given time zones, please let us know (
dmr.workshop.0@gmail.com
) and we can make other accomodations.
